New Year in Luton

Happy New Year!

I had a very special new year this time, I went to UK to see my friend. I had no idea where exactly I was going, since my friend, Tatiana, had only told me that she lives somewhere about 20 mins from London, which obviously doesn't tell me anything. So I got to London on 30th of December and Tatiana picked me up and we went to.. Luton! I stayed there in the student village with her and her flat mates. I got to know two very lovely girls, Becca and Hanicka, whom we spent most of our time with.

I went to London almost two years ago so I didn't need to do any of the turisty stuff this time, just focused on having fun and getting to know people. On New Year's Eve, four of us went to a house party and celebrated the beginning of the new year there. The best thing about that house party was definitely a bunny! There was the cutest little bunny ever, it was called Meatball, and I spent most of my time petting it.

On the first of January we didn't really do much, a little shopping and chilling. On the second Tatiana and I went to London for shopping. We only went to two shops; Victoria's Secret and Ted Baker, which both had sales. We both ended up spending more than we should have, whoopsie. And shopping didn't end there, the next day we went to Milton Keynes, to a big shopping mall, with Hanicka and Alex. The bus ride was ridiculously long and none of us actually knew exactly how to get to the place.

After shopping we had a cozy night at the student village, just playing board games (such as Tales of the Arabian Nights and Cards Against Humanity) and eating pizza.I'm so gonna get both of those games!
On my last night in Luton we went out to  a karaoke bar, we didn't sing anything though. Poor Tatiana was sick the whole time I was there, and I got a bit sick too after like my first day, so there was no chance that we would have wanted to sing infront of everyone with horrible voices.
I came back yesterday night and I wish I could have stayed there longer. I had so much fun and I got to know incredible people, who I can't wait to meet again xx
